I'd love to find something like SpeakENG for Portuguese...&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Name</dc:creator><pubDate>Sun, 13 Sep 2009 22:19:48 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Sweepstakes: The Great English Giveaway</title><link>http://blog.italki.com/2009/09/sweepstakes-the-great-english-giveaway/#comment-16390464</link><description>&lt;p&gt;1) How you found out about italki ?&lt;br&gt;I like to meet people specialy woman and know a little bit about other countries, one day I did a searching about chatrooms and find Italki where I could meet people and second learn other language.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2) Why I want to learn English?&lt;br&gt;By two years I had been learning English, first because I use to communicate in English in my job  and second because the most important informationabout any issue you find out in this laguage and third becuase all movies are in English.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3) A funny or embarrassing English mistake.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well, as i said in the last question I use to communicate in English in my job, this year a person from a service provider for the company where I working coming from France but he speak in English with a French accent and is very hard understood him, anyway  we was talking about spicy food because I had seen a movie where a waiter gave customer a leaf of mint to calm down spicy sensation in the mouth but I had said sheet of mint  and he watched me rarely because I  was emphasize that phrase.
